an explanation

i know people are curious and so far everyone has been awesome with my decision but i thought i would answer the question why for the individuals who do not feel right to ask.

Question: Why are you divorcing Ty?

Answer: Because I choose happiness.

it is truly that simple. no drama, no big long story, no "i don't love him anymore." i just deserve true pure happiness.

my mom, dad, and friends are being amazing. and when i say amazing i mean beyond supportive, beyond their duties remarkable.

Random Useless Thought

.

I have always preferred ketchup at restaurants over the ketchup at home. If I am in a drive through I always said "can I have some ketchup, please?" Then on cue Ty will say "we have some at home." Then I answer with "but I like theirs better."

Sitting at in a restaurant my fries, chicken strips, or other tasty fried treat always tasted better with their dipping sauce. Was it the atmosphere? Was it because someone brought it to me? Was it because I knew someone else was doing the dishes?
.

.
I did not know why I prefer restaurant ketchup to the ketchup at home. It is the exact same brand sitting on their tables as I have sitting in my fridge.....Ah Ha!!! Urika I've Got It!

Fridge Table, Table Fridge, Warm Cold, Cold Warm!!!! This lady likes warm ketchup over cold ketchup! If it was this easy WHY in the world have I been living my life sometimes ketchup free at home for as long as I can remember?!?

Now why can't all life's answers be so simple.......
.

.
Oh and yes, I still keep my ketchup in the fridge. Don't ask me why, I think it is a like mother like daughter thing....

Hi my name is Christel and I like my ketchup warm.

Dress shopping with Sutton

When I look in the mirror and I see this.....I am happy.

.
Sister I took this picture while driving 94 mph on the highway right after I let your son drink an entire Route 44 of Dr Pepper but before I let a big kid punk him at McDonald's.
.
No no no this is not right..... We were at a red light and he sipped a bottle of water in the parking lot but he did get jumped at McDonald's.
.
Stupid kid in the orange shirt.....grumble grumble grumble....... If he see's me in a dark alley he better run in the other direction.....grumble grumble

6 days old

.
Taking the chance of looking like a crazy cat lady I cannot help myself from showing off our 6 tiny friends.
On Saturday they started opening their tiny eyes.
Here is a look at Kitten Base Camp. We cut the top off the box for easy peaking. They are in the ladies room in the shower which we use as holiday storage. Since the stocking and whatnots.
The weekend is here and I will be going 2.5 days without seeing them. Oohh man this is makes me want a photo emailed to me tomorrow just to see their little faces...... I bet once I get to work on Tuesday they will be huge! They may be already applying for Cat College!

.

McDreamy

Dear McDonald masterminds,

I do not appreciate you somehow magically sticking a coupon for a free McCafe coffee in my car's console. Because after just one sip of your beyond yummy chilled iced mocha I was in love. So now if I happen to drive by your golden arch in the AM I must chant to myself "I will not pull in and buy a $3.01 chilled iced mocha...."
First off being no one, not even Oprah, should spend $3.01 on a coffee. The second reason a McCafe coffee is not a good idea is having to eat rabbit food for dinner to balance out the one million calories.
So now I am saying hello and goodbye McDonald masterminds to your dreamy McCafe coffees. It was a good fight on your part but I have won this battle.

Your satisfied customer,
Me

I spy something sweet

...
Look what I found Sunday when I came up to my work!
...

...
Little momma thought the shower in the ladies restroom was a good spot to have her babies. All 6 of them! No wonder she was MASSIVE.
In a delicate petite way, of course.

Saturday after work i flew (literally, i won the lottery and bought a plane) (no this is not true, i just drove fast) to Sutton's birthday party. My sister out did herself again. She is an instructor at Gymboree so she had all his tiny friends come, sing songs and hang out with Gymbo the clown.
...
...
And she made this cake. Awesome right?

Here is the birthday boy and his big brother with his loot!

The apple of their eye

...
This past weekend our pups got a special treat. Their best buddy Millie came over for a sleepover. She is my parents dog who really is not a dog but an angel in a dog's body.
...
She runs around with O and Z for awhile and then paces the house until she finds the quietest place to lay claim to for her stay at the Coon House. This time it was at the foot of our bed. Last time it was the hall bath. And the time before that was the office. To each is own, right?
...
...
She even helped with the yard work on Sunday.
...

...
Thank you Millie for hanging out with us this weekend.
You were perfect as always.

Happy Birthday Sutton!

...
Align CenterTwo years ago today my sister's family became complete with the birth of her littlest bugger,
Sutton Wane.

He loves to dance, sing, and take tractor rides. This morning he sang his ABC's over the phone to me and his Neena (my mom).....we cried because of the sweetness.

I am seriously lucky because I get to spend so much time with him. I think all sister's should live 3 miles from each other. It just makes life better. And since they live so close I get to hear Sutton say my name a lot. Which is one of my favorite things in the whole wide world.
Next to my sister living 3 miles from me.

I love his smile.....

.....and watching him go on dump truck delivery's with his Pa.

Happy 2nd Birthday Sutton!
I love you like Britney Spears loves Red Bull. (that's a lot)

Bus Driver...MOVE THAT BUS!

...
Err....wait......that is not a bus....it's our puurrfect cat Peng.
She is now officially EXTREMELY pregnant.

She is larger than her last go around of kittens so I am guessing there are 4 little mini's in there. The kittens are to the size now we can not only feel them but see them move. We can look down at her Kirstie Alley pooch and it will be misshapen kind of like Michael Jackson's nose. ohhhh sorry. Too soon?

A tiny little weed

...
Remember the little dude who was born two months ago? Check him out now!
...
...
Tristan is a different baby every time we see him. Is this where the saying Growing Like a Weed comes from?
...

...
Because I think he is growing faster than the weeds in my yard. No wait....the weeds are growing faster than he is. Any who they both are growing too fast and need to slow down.
Isn't his blonde hair the sweetest?!

good words

...
Don't spend too much on a hair cut. They don't last.

Memorize your favorite poem.

Never hog a microphone.

Collect something.

Never criticizes a book, play, or film unless you have seen it.

Never criticizes food unless you have tasted it.

When using a saw, patience, not strength is needed to make smoothest cut.

It isn't the mountains you climb which wear you out, it is the pebble in your shoe.

The most expensive restaurant is NEVER the best.

Remember the girl you are with is someones sister. And they can kick your butt.

Spend as much time by the water as possible. In a pinch even a creek with do.

If you are thinking you are a person of influence, try to order someone else's dog around. Will Rogers
